Q & A's with Susan Wilkinson - Physiotherapist

Susan Wilkinson has been practicing at Beaumont Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic since 1995 and has been practicing Physiotherapy since 1993. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Physical therapy. She completed her advanced exam in manual and manipulation therapy in 2003; this is an internationally recognized certification. Susan also became certified in Intramuscular Stimulation(IMS) in 2011. What do you enjoy the most about being a physio? I get to meet a lot of interesting people from different walks of life but the most rewarding aspect of my job is helping people return to daily activities, sport or play. I tell my clients it is a two-way street

Meet the Physio – Gabrielle Cave Gabrielle Cave has been the owner of Beaumont Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic since 2013 and has been practicing at the clinic since 2004. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy in 2003. Why did you become a Physiotherapist? Growing up I played a lot of competitive sports and I experienced many knee injuries. Between regular physiotherapy attendance for these injuries, and having an aunt who is a physiotherapist, I was exposed to the benefits of physiotherapy for both treating injuries that have already occurred and for preventing future injuries.
